Hi Everyone,
When I replaced a failed alternator on my JD1140 I noticed that the pulley doesn't align with the pulleys of the fan and crankshaft. I would say it is about 3/8th of an inch out. The lack of alignment can't be too serious as the tractor has been running that way for years and years, but I'm curious to know whether the mounting bracket can be adjusted fore and aft. I should have looked when I had the alternator off!
Best wishes
Denis
