Jacobsen Turfcat - reverse problem

I have Jacobsen 523d TurfCat.

Recently there are problems with switching driving directions. Can't drive backwards, need to press the leaver couple of times, and it starts to react and drives back. Sometimes it works sometimes not... Frustrating...

I've changed the hydraulic oil and the filter. It doesn't help much.

Do you think it's the problem with hudraulic oil pump or sth. else?

I would first double check to make the linkage is consistent in moving the swash plate in reverse direction.

You are 100% right @oldnslo.

The linkage was loose and worn our after so many years of using.
It works now, however in the future I will need to regenerate the connection in the pump.

I'm glad that it's not the problem with the pump itself.
