Jacobsen tractors - vintage, 1960's

There must be a Jacobsen crowd / fan-base in the TBN mix here ???

I'd like to connect, share information, knowledge, source parts etc. If you are familiar with the Jacobsen brand of Garden and Lawn Tractors (1959-1989) I'd like to learn more.

I acquired my 1969 Jacobsen Super Chief 1450 last Fall (2021). It runs, and is a beast for what it is ... a garden tractor. My intent is to restore it, find missing parts (mower deck, grille, manuals, and attachments), and then just putter with it.

Thought a new post might generate some leads and contacts, perhaps even pull some of these old machines out of hiding. I'd love to see photos, hear stories, gather information.

Jacobsen made a lot of mower for the big tractor companies . You should be able to find mower deck .You'll need to paint it the right color

They are built heavy, look out it can be addicting the next thing you know you will own 2 or 3 of them the hunt for parts and wrenching are what makes it so much fun.
