Greetings. Our church has an old Jacobsen T422D Turfcat that we use to cut about 6 acres.
It wouldn't start the other day, so I jumped it off and it started right up (one of the few automotive things I know how to do).
Cut for about an hour then it just powered down. A call to our mechanical know-it-all said to check the alternator.
Sure enough. No belt.
We all know that Jacobsen built amazing machines that are still running 20/30 years later.
They're basically their own competition, so they've stopped supporting the older machines.
I've been able to track down the part number for the belt (338521) but I can find ZERO info about it. Nothing.
I thought I was going to be able to find a comparable belt at JacksSmallEngines(dot)com/Products/JACOBSEN/Belts/Belts-By-Size but I get no hits searching the page for the OEM.
Came across this site along the way and saw there's some knowledgeable Jacobsen folk here so here's hoping you can steer me in the right direction.
Thanks in advance!
