My neighbor has your combination. I know it is pretty easy to take off but I am not sure I can help you. If you put your quetions in the John Deere owning and operating forum I think you will get an answer quicker. Also welcome to TBN you can find all kinds of information here.

Going from memory
Disconnect the PTO.
Lower the deck as far as it will go.
Rotate the handle thingy at the front to release the tension.
Undo the hangers from the deck lift mechanism.
Undo the 2 front rods that support the front of the deck
Remove the handle thingy bracket at the front.
Slide the deck out to the side.
Before I start, I usually rotate the rear guage wheels 90 degrees so that the deck will roll out easily.
Disconnect the PTO.
Lower the deck as far as it will go.
Rotate the handle thingy at the front to release the tension.
