Hit your dealer up with the quotes you've gotten. Any other NH dealers relatively close to you?

Got a quote for 31,300 and if i pay cash and not finance through CNH credit then its $1100 less then that so that is $30,000 for a TN75A 4wd with mid hydraulics, joystick controlled and rear hydraulic valve and the New Holland loader with QA bucket. Probabbly not the power tranny but how much more is that? STILL CHEAP! I have 4 dealers that i can get quotes from. they range from 45 minutes to 2.5 hours. That guy i got quote from for $37000 is the new dealer in town and i cant believe he is $7000 more then he could be.

Sounds like he's trying to make all of his startup costs back fast, lol. $30,000 isn't bad, it'll be a huge difference after the IH gas engine tractor.

That is not a bad price - find out what tranny it has. If it has even an 8x8 power shuttle then it is a good deal - another rear remote added as part of the deal and your on your way

i will ask about the tranny. I will just get a quote with the desired tranny. Which is best for that tractor? 12x12 16x16? power? I have no idea the differences but the best one and easiest shifting would be what i want for that tractor. Also what is the mid hydraulics? i just need a set at the rear for my mower i can add another but one remote at the rear is all i ever used. the loader doesnt use the rear does it? i have a buddy with a tn65 and the loader hoses go to the rear. i dont want that set up.

The mid remote is where the loader will be attached, leaving the rear remote free for other implements. The "economy" tractor is 8x8 with synchronized mechanical shuttle, the standard model, which is likely what you have been quoted, has the 12x12 synchro command, fully synchronized with mechanical shuttle. There's a 12x12 synchro command plus which has a higher road gear with optional power shuttle, as well as the 16x16 version, also with optional power shuttle. The 16x16 power shuttle version with mid mount valve included is about $1600 more than the 12x12 mechanical shuttle with mid valve. Your new dealer quoted you full list from what I see, I called a buddy at my local NH and he told me full list would be around $36500 with the old 32LA loader installed.

Thats funny he did all kinds of calculater number crunching and came up with list price. man he dont want to sell a tractor very bad. So the one rear remote is fine for me but this transmission thing i dont fully understand. i will be happy with the 12 x12 synchro so what will that give me exactly. mechanical shuttle? Im guessing basically you can throw in reverse without clutch while moving and back to forward and the gears will be using clucth like old days but can do it while rolling? i take it 3 ranges and 4 gears?

3 ranges, 4 gears. Mechanical shuttle requires clutching.
