Its That Time of Year - Tiller Mods

So now that the snow is almost all gone, its time to start thinking about dusting off the ol Tiller...every year around this time of year I think about the need to make my Sovema RP-180 iMatch compatible...Last spring I had some brackets Plasma-CAM'ed out...thats done. Whats left is to debate how to mount them:

A) As you can see by the attached pic, this tiller has a 2" "Toolbar" out front, so I could make my brackets bolt on like the factory one.
-OR-
B) Weld the plates I had done up on the toolbar and call it good.

Obviously B is alot easier & faster...but would a person ever want/need to adjust the mounting?

And of course, once I get that figured out its time to prime & paint her.

I think I would go with option 'A'. Little more time/material invested but able to be adjustable or returnable to 'how ya got it now

I want a whisker bar on my tiller so maybe i will see it and avoid the corner. It is giving me a very tender knee, when i walk past it in the shop.I'v been thinking of using a bike rod, it only needs to be about 5 foot high.
