It's not ALWAYS hot in Texas

Right now it is about 70 degrees here and I think it might have gotten up to about 78 today. This has been a really wet and cool summer here, not sure what will happen this winter?

Now you have to take it a bit slower down there Bird, heck you are over 42 now..

Seeing the snow is strange for me, thinking that it's in Texas though. Down here near Galveston I can only remember it "snowing" (<2") 3 times since I've been here. But then, that's only been 65 years Naturally however, snow in some parts of Texas is a non-event...

Yeah, that was a 1973 18' Winnebago Brave on an 11k GVW Dodge chassis. It had what they called a 318 cu. in. "industrial" engine that was a little different from the 318 in the cars. It took 8 quarts of oil to change oil in it. I did not get dash air on it; just ran the 2.5 kw Onan generator and the roof air on the road. And we pulled a 1969 Opel Cadet behind it. I've forgotten what I paid for it, but I think it was in the vicinity of $8,000 new.
