It\'s Here!!!!

Well she finally arrived today /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif What a sight to see the shiny new L39 backing into the driveway. It is so clean and perfect, regardless of the fact that the rear work lights, tool box, and front hydraulics are missing. Hopefully the dealer will install them along with the bucket chain hooks next week when the rain lets up a bit. I'm really looking forward to finally being able to break-in a machine correctly without undue stress or wear and tear.

Yes, a nice clean and easy first 50 - 100 hours is what this machine deserves and shall receive.

This was a bad scene.....I didn't know what to do and I was STUCK....completely BURIED in mud that my shovel bounced off from all the roots and dense turf. I finally figured out how to control the transmission and pull the machine with the stick at the same time. While the wheels were spinning in reverse I was able to reach waaay out and muscle it back up onto "dry land". I was pretty happy when it started to move on its own accord. This first project consumed the better part of the afternoon. Excellent bonding time.

AHHH! She's out of the mud hole and up on all threes for its first bath. I must have used 1000 gallons of water trying to get all the mud out of the undercarriage and the wheels. I don't think I'll ever get it all out, but that's OK. It's made to work and today was it's first day in training. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Trying to teach it to swim, were ya? Nice photos. I especially like the "eek, there's a mouse!" photo. Very cool. It would be a lot easier to clean that way.

I'm guessing you won't be having second thoughts about selling the Woods blade!!! It would probably fit between the rear tires.

That is a fine looking machine.

Lifting up on all threes like that is something that never occured to me to try. I have to do it once with my B2910, next time I put the backhoe on, just for fun. Doubt it would end up anywhere as high as yours goes though. Wonder what would happen in the unlikely event that a hose on an outrigger burst? /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Did you happen to take a photo of the underside of the machine? Like to see one if you did.

The L39 sure looks like a great TLB. Enjoy!

NEW TRACTOR TIP OF THE DAY: dont buy that outrageously priced kubota filter[so you dont void warrenty]get the same quality aftermarket,save your old one and screw it back on if something happens.sneak,sneak sneak

Congratulations on your new machine! What took so long for delivery? I thought your dealer received that machine weeks ago! By the way, my new L39 was received at the dealership on Friday. Can't wait to get it.

I'm glad you posted your experience. I've got a brand new BX2230 sitting in the stable. I have said my hardest first job will be to not do anything with it until the ground thaws and dries out. I was starting to waiver until I saw your post. I think I'll just keep it clean until the spouse gets back from her trip and gets to see it. It showed up while she was gone, (no - she was involved in the buying decision but happened to be on a trip when it was delivered.)
