I finally found a replacement K3M Mitsu. engine block for my '96 Cub Cadet 7274. The only problem is, it is in a 2001 7300 with only 250 hours on it. So, it makes the most sense to take all the trick stuff off the old one, rather than the engine out of the new one.

The '96 had aftermarket remotes which I have now moved to the '01. My problem is, it's been a long time and I can't remember the lineup. The CC 476 loader on the '01 is the same as a Woods 1009 (pages 11-15). The '96 had a CC 417 loader which is the same as a Woods 165 (the hydraulics appear to be basically the same for both types).

The loader control has in/out/PBY. The remotes' valves have in/out. I need a map. I am not at all versed in hydraulic systems and their applicable terms. I am a little hesitant to do trial and error here.

Newer tractor's manifold:

As you may see, the return port is doubled on the newer tractor.

I just need to know where the in and out of the remotes' control valve will go.

From what I can see, it looks like the most likely lineup is to connect the remotes' valves' "out" (which is a line with a female connector) to the "N" port on the manifold's male nipple, and the "in" (which is a line with a male nipple) into the line from the loader control valve's PBY line which has the female I removed from port "N."

Your flow should be something like this.

Pump to IN port of the loader valve with PB, PB hose should go to the remote valve IN port.

Both OUT ports can be teed together, and then to tank.

Do not use a QD on the pump flow to the valve. The loader valve is what will protect the pump.

Okay, so I guess that P is pump, and T is tank. N would be?

N's nipple was connected to the PBY hose to the loader control valve.

I have connected the PBY hose that I removed from N's nipple to the Remote valve's IN's male hose QD. The Remote's OUT hose has a female QD that I put on N where the PBY hose used to attach.

It looks like the only way it can go.
