It is started, couple of fluids questions for 545D

I got the tractor started. It was getting dark and I only ran it for about 2 minutes. I want to return to the site of the tractor prepared with the proper fluids, please excuse my ignorance.
Is there a coolant reservoir that will show the proper fill level and what kind of coolant does this model require?
What kind of engine oil and how much?

My comments aren't specific to the 545D, but will work with most engines ever made.

Just bring some 50/50 mixed water/anti-freeze with you and some "diesel" rated (not super critical to be diesel rated) 15-40 motor oil. You should be able to find the radiator cap, fill it up, or at least get it within an inch of full. If there's a reservoir for the coolant, you should find a small hose coming from where you took the radiator cap off. The reservoir will have fill marks on it, but you need to look at the fluid level in the radiator itself, that's more critical.

Can't say how much oil it would take for a change, but I'd guess close to 5 gallons. If you're just making sure the engine has the proper amount to run, find the dipstick and check. You might want to bring several quarts (or get a gallon jug of Chevron Delo 15-40) of oil with you just to be sure.

I'd put 15w40 C rated oil in the crankcase.. brand irrelevant, and any coolant that was fleet or diesel ready .. IE.. cavitation and electrolysis addatives included... for any hyds or power steering systems, including axles and such.. UTF fluid meeting M2C134D spec.
