I am having a hard time deciphering the the MT225 loader capabilities.

My uses will be gravel, brush (branches or small trees), trees that have fallen and I have likely cut up), snow pushing (whatever), and scaring off daughter’s boyfriends by hanging a “Dad requires age verification” sign off it.

I will be getting pallet forks, but may wind up with a grapple too. Lots of existing bush piles too close to the buildings.

LS
Lift capacity at pivot pin: 1609lb
Breakout force at pivot pin: 2701

The weights are comparable, the engine displacement though, LS is a Mitsubishi 80cc versus Kioti’s 100. That should result in more torque?

The really big thing to me is that the Kioti comes with two sets of remotes, the MT225HE has none.

Go with the remotes. Rear remotes are an essential feature for 3pt operation. You will thank me later

Look at the new ls mt 226. I just got mine in march and love it. Its the updated version of the 225 and has a higher lift capacity. The 226 and kitoti have the same capacities. I feel the quality is better on the ls after looking at both

The e model LS tractors are the economy versions, and usually do not come with standard remotes and other niceties. For that matter, I think it is an option on the Kioti 2620 as well, as you need to step to the se models to get them standard. The dealer can install remotes though.

And yes, the 226 is the latest LS model in this lineup. May want to peak at that before purchasing.

It’s dealer option on theirs. Price is still cheaper though.

Everywhere around me the LS is cheaper than comparable Kioti (one of the main reasons why I have a LS). If the cost is less for a more optioned Kioti, then that sounds like a clear winner. May want to check around a bit on price though.

I have a Kioti 2620se with the cab and air, if LS / NH had a comparable tractor with the cab and air I would have gone with the blue. If for no other reason that I prefer blue over orange.

The breakout numbers are misleading as they are at the pivot. Breakout numbers at the centre of the bucket are more real world accurate.
Note with a pallet fork the weight is even further forward resulting in less lift.
Many manufactures offer a budget and premium model of the same hp rating. Check which one (MT) you are looking at. Is the Kioti budget or premium? The trend these days is for attatchments to go hydraulic. No rear scv is a significant limitation in my eyes. Hydraulic are expensive to retro fit and are best(cheaper) bought up front.

A concern I have is that the M225HE and the MT226HE (not cab) uses the Mitsubishi SL32 engine, which seems to be limited in its usage?

I wonder if I will have part problems.
