PascoBlue - - nice tractor. I really am not "color oriented" - - I'm just glad to hear when a new unit is working so well.

Very interesting - you are growing blue berries in wine country. Your first post - picture on the right - looks to be a field of new blue berry plantings. That appears to be a fairly large field. Is the planting done by hand or is there some type of pull behind mechanical planter.

Just looking at the size of that field makes my back muscles ache. We harvested wild blue berries, high & low bush cranberries when we lived in AK.

Hey oosik,

I growing over on the Wet side of Washington in Whatcom county. The field may look large but its just a gentlemen's size farm 20acres, somewhere in the neighborhood of 25,000 plants. This is our first full year of being planted. We had berries but we stripped everything off and will focus on root growth for a couple of years. The planting was all done by a group of dedicated east Indians. I have a great propagator I was working with that made it all possible.

And believe me everything hurts in all new places when we work out there. I keep asking myself what am I thinking......I must be nuts.
