ISO EZEE flow spreader

Some, if not all of the wide pull type spreaders tended to rust out in the bottom, especially if fertilizer was left in them. The John Deere spreader we owned had a replaceable bottom plate on each side of center. I'm not sure about the EZEE FLOW.

To be sure we're talking about the same type of implement I'll try to drop an image to one similar to the one I used below. I don't know it's model. Make sure you check that there's a bolt on plate on either side of center as I don't know that they were all replacable. It might also be good to check with Deere and make sure the plates are still available and affordable. I only bought one and that was in the 1970s. It also had a lever that could easily be flipped to remove the lift out tine bars that agitated the seed. There was another lever insude the hopper on ours that opened and closed the opening to adjust flow rate. I'd check the bottom for rust at several lever posituons.
