Hello
My Iseki is sick, fuel leaking from the vent(airway) of fuel pump, my first idea was that the un-used fuel hose is stuck but is not, I check the to the tank and it is fine. The un-used fuel not going fuel tank and leaking from the air way valve.I think may be have busted seal or something inside of the pump but want ask some body with similar problem here.
The number of the pump is 1043032052
When I blow out the ventilation hose, the fuel starts leaking after 2-3 minutes after start the engine.

I'm from Bulgaria and here Iseki machines are very unpopular, I hope somebody can help me.
Don't economize your suggestions please.

Thank you

Pit

G"day if you can post some pics of the fuel pump and where it is leaking from that may help but it sounds to me that it is leaking from the little hole that lets you know when the diaphragm in the pump is shot i would say you are up for a new pump. Hope this helps

Is this ISEKI of yours gas or diesel???....I own an ISEKI G-174 and mine is a 3 cyl. diesel....I may be mistaken....but as I understood these were gray market tractors from Japan and the ISEKI Company made these for BOLENS and quite a few other brands....if someone needs to chime in here and give me more information....and at the same time help this fellow with his leaking fuel pump issue.....I bought my tractor last year and modified a few things on it this past summer which included installing an inline circulating type block heater plus installed two snow ploughs a heavy guage steel 48" grader blade on the 3pt hitch and a small light gauge steel 42" Craftsman snow plough on the front for when I do our sidewalks.....it's now raised and lowerd with a small 1500lb electric winch...the angle part of it is still hand operated by a handle instead of the original useless hand cable....I also repainted it a Bolens green and white....anyhow pic's of your ISEKI and whether it's gas or diesel would help us get your tractor back in service again.....Ampa :):):)

G'day if the diaphragm is shot then you may be able to buy a kit for it but most of the time it is not much dearer to buy a new pump (aftermarket if one is available). I have not seen a succesful way to repair these diaphagms yet

I think maybe you mean the shut off fuel filter is leaking...probley the "O" ring... I replaced mine as it was leaking and installed an inline fuel filter I took the old filter out of the plastic bowel and left it as is without a paper filter....diesel engines don't have a fuel pump to my knowledge but they have an injector pump....yes much more expensive than a fuel pump on a gas engine....an "O" ring is very cheap to buy....you could maybe even have a crack in the plastic filter bowl causing it to leak.... I found that an old Case International 255 uses the same fuel bowl and new parts are still available at any Case dealership.....there's a Case dealership close by me where I get most my new parts .... I live up in Ontario Canada ....hope this info helps....Ampa :)

Yes I see what you mean....but like I mentioned you said a fuel pump...which is what was confusing me and probely a few other guys on this forum....anyhow it looks to me that you may have to remove the whole injector pump....which I heard could be an expensive fix and a big pain in the butt....but lets get someone else to chime in here with a little more knowledge before you do anything....what I mean is these pumps need to be timed after they are removed and work/repairs done on them....if I ever had problems with my injector pump I would take it to a well known diesel mechanic....anyhow I wish you luck and whatever info you get from someone else who knows more than both of us...will be good news for everyone on this forum that run diesel tractors like our ISEKI's.....take care.....AMPA :):):)

G'day it is a bit hard to see in the first photo what you are pointing to but it looks like the breather for the govenor housing and if this is so you are going to have to pull the inj pump off and have it resealed by a local fuel inj shop. If you don't know of any or are in the slightest bit unsure of what you are doing then i would take it to a local repair workshop

Thank you Jon, the leaking going exactly from this governor breather, Unfortunately as I said here in Bulgaria(ex social block) we have not any parts to get from, so in will need to find the proper seals via internet and make purchase.
Any ideas for good one e-shop?

Thanks again

Heb hetzelfde probleem gehad met mijn iseki TL1901. Het probleem zit hem in het handpompje vooraan op de brandstofpomp. Er zit een scheur in het membraan waardoor de brandstofpomp overloopt.

I try to translate : the problem is found on the handpump on the front of your injectionpump (you can see the handpump on the bottom of the first picture) Inside the handpump their is a membrane which is ripped. The gasoil can so into e injectionpump and it overflow.

Hi, Folks.
Glad to have found this site and this thread.
I to have a Iseki 4270 with an fuel oil leak, it is coming from the back of the injector, no chance to take photo there. Today after many year of it filling up a can suspended under the injector, I decided to plumb it in to the injector fuel return that goes back to the tank.

Well there is a second overflow pipe which I discovered after connecting the first pipe back to the tank. Now I got a bit of tube onto this second overflow and blocked it off, all was fine for a bit then fuel came out of the Injector air vent on the top. A very big F****** **** was heard luckly by no one.

So after much internet searching I may have the answer, Membrane in the hand primer pump you say. Hope it is that simple.

An update on finding a Fuel Lift pump This is what it is called. After much searching of the net I only found one photo of the type of pump Mic Mikuni Kogyo. It was in the UK, phoned them and they never phoned me back as promised.
So I went to my local T.H.White tractor machinery people who are still agents for Iseki. They looked the part up in a book and said they can get a new Lift pump sent from Japan in about 10days. So eagerly await a call to say it has arrived.

Hi, All.
Well it arrive ok. But not what I expected, only the Diaphragm bit. P1100581.JPG
The hard bit was how to fit it. There is a hidden pin that will release the diaphargm. Press the area where the cam would press it in and out in the injector, now rotate the diaphragm, you can see from photo there is a square of metal that the hand primer fits in, this will be cleared by rotating diaphragm. now down at the cam end you may notice a pin that will drop out if you press both ends.
」62 it cost me in all. worth it I guess.
