Iseki front end leak

I have an Iseki TS1610F that has started leaking grease from the lower swivel part of the front left wheel. I noticed some play in the top pivot point which I took apart. The part I took off connects the steering arm to the wheel.Underneath appears to be about a 1" pin on which the steering arm pivots.I believe the bushing/seal is worn allowing the top of the wheel assy to move further than normal. Should I try to replace these bushings first or count on replacing the lower seals also. Are there bearings down there which would have to be out in order for these to leak?

You don't say if you have 4wd or not. And I am not familiar with the Iseki. I had a leak in the left front drive unit on my JD 950 (made my Yanmar) last year. Actually had a bearing failure which caused a seal to fail. I completely dismantled it and replaced the bearings (2) and all seals. It wasn't a particularly difficult repair. But I replaced everything while I was in there so I would not have to do it again. About $100 in parts and 3 hours or so time.

Yes, its 4wd.......makes things "interesting" up there.
I think I should get a manual before I go deeper, I've been known to waste funds "exploring" things in the past.

I would definitely recommend a manual. I bought both the service manual and parts manual for mine. I probably could have gotten thru it without them, but it made the process much easier. Especially when I went to buy parts. I took the parts manual to the dealer and said I need one of this, one of this, one of this, ...........
