Is this truly a double acting hydraulic pump system?

Is it power "up" but only gravity "down"? I notice that some of this type of unit have a pair of poppet valves while others have a directional type spool valve with a solenoid on each end.
Also, I see only one port on the one shown here so how could it power a double acting cylinder in both directions?


This one here seems to be true "double acting" but the statement below in the specs is a little confusing:

The ‘Chinglish’ and not knowing if the pictures are of the actual unit will make it hard to figure out till it’s at your doorstep! Sometimes you get what you pay for.
looks like they are both power up and power down.
I have power up-down in my dump trailer. I just recently priced a new pump/tank unit from a trailer dealer....$600 canucks.
Some people like gravity down, some don’t. Tomato-Tomato.

Yeah, I don't have a degree in Chinglish either. The different psi relief settings for up and down don't make much sense to me but perhaps there is a reason for is.

Edit: Perhaps the lower relief setting for "down" is to protect a safety latch under the trailer bed.
