Tractor
Kubota b21
I've been trying to find a way to hook my trailer to my B21 so I can move it around my property, I was looking at options and remembered I seen this on the back of the tractor when removing the backhoe recently, is this some kind of reciever that I could put a ball type hitch into to move my car trailer into a spot I cant get my truck into? Definitely not a standard reciever but maybe theres a way?

That’s for a tow bar. One usually comes with the tractor. You could put a ball hitch on one

That is for the drawbar. Most tractors come with one but maybe it wasn't included on backhoe models. You can probably order it from a Kubota dealer.

Tractor drawbars are made for clevis hooks. You may be able to adapt it to a trailer ball depending on the ball size and hole size. You could also attach a standard trailer hitch receiver tube to the drawbar.

BTW, tractor drawbars are meant for pulling. May not be able to support a lot of tongue weight, so keep your expectations realistic.

Can really get into tight places pushing a trailer. Military trailer works good for bucket receiver hitch on both B20 and B26. Also move log splitter.

If your B21 has a ssqa a FEL hitch mount plate might be a option for your car hauler. Titan makes a bucket bottom clamp on receiver I picked up in Memphis. Don’t know if I would trust a clamp on, but don’t know your application.

The B20 and B26 didn’t come with a drawbar.

Tractor drawbars are solid bar stock. They are also a snug fit. Most likely it will hold as much tongue weight as you will need. Think Kubota manual will tell you to use the fix drawbar to pull any pull type implement or trailer as it will not lift like the 3 pth will. Have pulled a trailer a lot with my M6800 Kubota. No sure why you could not back a trailer into a tight place with fix drawbar.

Most drawbars are too low for good trailer handling. I made a clamp on receiver hitch for my FEL. I find pushing trailers to be better for maneuvering in tight spots. Got the idea watching lot boys at an RV dealer moving trailers that way with a forklift. On the FEL you are looking straight ahead to where you are going, and tight turns are easier. I have never been good at backing trailers with a PU anyway. Never enough practice. Smokey's FEL system is the wrong approach, you need to lock onto a ball hitch.
