Just got a quote from a local dealer, does this seem like a fair deal?:

L2501 HST 4x4

R4 Tires / LA525FL Loader / RCF 2060 5' Shredder / Armstrong BB05 Box Blade - minus rebates and tax included

Loader $4000
Shredder $1650
Box Blade $495

DSA Rebate - $1,300
2 implements rebate - $1,000

$20,033.77 (out the door)

L3301 HST 4x4 (Same Setup)

$23,929.54 (out the door)

Kubota insurance was not included above, the total quoted was $2,154.28 - 84 months of insurance paid up front ($25.65 month). Looks like its a full upfront payment on the insurance. 84 months requires 20% down.

What dealer gave you that quote?

Normangee Tractor & Implement Co

That’s who I was going to recommend. For kubota I deal with Jason. He’s top notch. You also have Washington county tractor in navasota and landsdowne moody in Conroe. Nobody can touch normangees price though.

Be sure to get the KTAC. The best insurance out there for tractors

I just bought a L3301 HST, R4 tires w/ similar attachments plus SSQA bucket, pallet forks & canopy and some extras. That price is in the ballpark, guessing about $22,500 less tax. But i think could be a touch better.

Chew on this....according to Kubota web site, there is only $3070 MSRP difference between those two models. Why is their quoted difference much greater than that? Assuming all other features are equal. Granted, its all a numbers game. Sell tractor & loader at near cost, then quote add-ons at/near list price.

Nobody can touch their price in Normangee????

$19,995 for L2501 package
$23,900 on the L3301 same

BOOM.....Touched that like Al Franken touches passed out ladies breasts. If their price could not be touched, I would not have a job selling Kubota tractors at one of the 12 dealer locations closer to the poster than Normangee, TX.

Buy local, Landsdowne @ either Conroe/Splendora/Hockley or WCT in Navasota/Bryan/Brenham. These will be the guys you turn to when or if you need help, if in fact you are in Magnolia....and for all the guys who say relationship with a dealer means nothing....be nicer next time. We bend over backwards for the folks that don't treat us like used car salesmen an

Haha. Thatç—´ awesome. That looks like a great deal. If youæ±*e a dealer, please get more involved on the forums. There are tons of threads like these everyday that could benefit from someone I the business giving an opinion. There is a strong Houston area presence and even becoming a sponsor would be a huge asset here and also potentially bring a lot of folks shopping in to see you when they see you are here to help

I don稚 typically buy based on price. I generally try to go local. I am a self proclaimed weirdo and don稚 like anything that has sat on the lot nor been tested by several people. Normagee was the easiest to deal with when I expressed my desire for an ordered unit. I also don稚 think haggling is appropriate (expect fair on the first shot). Normangee was also the cheapest by chance. Severel friends I work with also shared that sentiment as well. I have been told that since landsdowne moody bought out allied in Conroe that the pricing is pretty fixed and the salesman痴 hands are tied more than before (so initial price is automatically higher) As for Washington county, great folks, closer dealer but really liked the guy in normangee. He knew exactly who I was and remembered our conversations from months prior and kept notes he referred back to. He was who I wanted to do business with.

To the OP I can recommend you an excellent guy at LM in Conroe for sales. Pm me if interested. If Jason left normangee I would use LM in a heartbeat. Heck, wct would be considered my local dealer and I壇 go to them too.

It痴 not always about the best price as much as going where you feel comfortable. I would do business with any of the local kubota dealers, normangee is just who had no zero issue on ordering what I wanted and never tried to push me into something on the lot. Everything we have is kept inside and I can稚 stand faded equipment.

Wish I could get a hold of KNOWITALL. I went down to Landsdowne-Moody in Hockley to get pricing on the package above. The first price I was quoted was about $2,200 more than Normangee. I decided to go ahead and show the guy Normangee's quote to see if he could be a little more competitive on his price. He ended up dropping it down to $407.87 more than Normangee. I was surprised he didn't at least match the price...I had my check book out and I was ready to do the deal. I know its just $400, but that would get me upgraded to a quick connect FEL at Normangee.

Impressed with Normangee...they gave me the best price out of the gate.

Try to PM knowitall and see if he responds. Hopefully it’ll go to his email. The Conroe store has a great guy name Carl Walk that I would do business with. If they still strike out on price the Jason at normangee is top notch. Be sure to make sure your tractor is fresh and hasn’t been sitting on the lot for a while

I sent him a PM last week but have not heard back. The only thing that I have a hang up on is the distance I have to travel for service. Normangee is 1.5 hours away and LM is about 22 min. But then again if Kubota is everything I have heard they are then I should not need service often, if at all. I am with you, I do not want one that has been out on the lot forever. I store everything inside and I like my equipment pristine - kind of makes me sick driving by the lots and seeing all of them sitting outside taking a beating from the sun and rain.
