Caught this on game camera in south central PA. Some say its a house cat but others say a bobcat. Please opine.

I see bobcat's here occasionally and we have house cats, and that is a bobcat in your picture. No doubt in my mind.

The spotting on the legs is bobcat. You can see the same spotting in my bobcat pics.

Did not know this

"The bobcat is named for it's tail. All bobcats have a bobbed tail, though it may be as long as 12 inches in length."

We live near OKC. Wife and I were walking the trails in a park near us when we spotted two large cats next to the trail in front of us. They were huge, at least at the time they seemed huge...I thought they were pumas. Only problem...their tails were not nearly long enough for a Puma, but seemed too long for a bobcat. We finally decided that they were bobcats BIG bobcats with tails that were apparently longer than what you would expect for a bobcat. My guess is they were at least a foot long; I know they were longer than in most of the pictures you see of bobcats. There are a few Pumas in this part of the country, but very few. I have never seen one, but verified sightings do exist.
