So for me there are 3 categories. Food I don't like, food that doesn't like me, and food I cannot mentally manage to eat.
Don't like cauliflower or oysters, fried raw doesn't matter. Bell peppers and cucumbers don't like me (though I love hot peppers and pickles). Organ meats, mostly, sound bad and are not good for gout. Same with escargot, raw fish, oysters.
Exception, I grew up with beef liver and onions...and yellow mustard. Just fine with it, but rare to eat due to gout. Though, mom also made head cheese and I don't have any desire to eat that again.
Most other stuff I will eat, but some of those only in a pinch...like at business dinner in DC, those host ordered caviar. Not my favorite, would not buy it myself, but if pressed I could force it down again.
