My opinion is it's not so much what it is but how it makes you feel 20 minutes after eating! Sometimes wife will just have vegetables and fruits...no meat. Turnip greens, sweet potato, beets, mixed fruit. Afterwards lots of energy.
Stews can be really good with lots of vegetables in it.
As a teen sometimes I'd make a cake then eat the uncooked batter...the whole thing.
6'1" and 135#. Now if I licked the spoon I'd gain 5#.
Remember that commercial many years ago, guy saying "I can't believe I ate the WHOLE thing". Pepto Bismol maybe.

Yeah, hot dogs are pretty disgusting to watch being made. Even worse is to eat them intentionally. It's the same as canned dog food without the can. No wait, dog food is better. There's rules for what goes in that. :laughing:

We don't do that often; maybe once a month, but we both enjoy that kind of a meal and probably should do it more often.
