Is the XR3135 really worth it?

All valid points. Although I'm not sure that i can justify the added cost. My dealer and myself went over a few tractor combinations last night, and he did point out the cab on multiple machines. But would throw in the number of or types of implements that I could get in lieu of the cab, which I thought was a very valid point. Honestly, I think I might try to make a removable cab. In the last year, I've upgraded my fabricating equipment and I think if I'm patient enough, it should turn out decent.

Also, I walked out of the dealership last night with a very decent quote on a XG3140. So that might very well be the direction I end up going.

May I ask why the XJ2025 isnt working out?

I ended up selling it. But it was just a little small for everything that I've got going on. Especially the road maintenance.
Light, narrow ect. ect. An awesome little machine, great capacities. Just too small.

The XR does have a lot of extras that the XG does not have including i think a heaver frame,i chose the XG because i didn't need any of the extras except the rear remote and the part of the deal was he installed one-rear remote and i later removed and installed a dual remote . The price of the XG was a good bit cheaper than the XR. I also did not need more than 35hp now or later.
All things you will have to consider.

I have an XG 3140H with one set of rear remotes but I'm interested in throwing another set of remotes on it, did you have to take your single set of remotes off to put on a 2 remote setup or did you just add a second remote?

I originally wanted a third function for my grapple but due to time constraints I let the dealer talk me into a rear remote setup for it, it works ok but I would still like the grapple to be on the FEL joystick some day, I can do without it for now though.

No had to remove the single and install the dual.
I like how my grapple works and cant see the advantage of the 3 function unless you are using it all day for multi days.

Yeah, I had a chance to go look at it today and I see there's only one set of ports on the piece on there now, thanks for confirming!

Who was your dealer in mo.

Cole's in Farmington, that's the closest to my property and I wasn't about to tow a trailer with a tractor that had filled wheels any further than I had too. ;)

You mentioned doing light hay work. If you are going to be baling then you definitely want something that is 40hp or more. Any less hp and you could damage the tractor and/or the baler will not operate correctly.

I have the XR3140HC and really like the tractor...
