is the MF 65 good on fuel?

I'm putting in a tender for a roadside grass cutting job and was wondering if the MF 65 would be all right for the job? is it good on fuel or should I try finding a smaller tractor?

My '58 model (gas) does reasonably well on fuel but I have had an ongoing problem with a leaky sediment bowl in the fuel line to the carburetor. I've replaced it but the new one leaks too. One suggestion if your machine is a gasoline model, lead substitute gas additive seems to help it run better than using plain unleaded gas.
