Is the Cyber Truck a Flop?

Growing up many of the dads were WWII vets and would have nothing to do with anything Japanese… no radios or electronics and certainly no automobiles.
My father was in the Navy in the S. Pacific in WWII. Was really surprised when he bought a Suburu a few years before he died.

When I started working medical I was surprised how many practicing Jewish docs I met and more surprised at many driving luxury German cars from Porsche, Mercedes and BMW.
Jews have lived among their perpetrators all their life, and have many positive experiences with other peoples. War veterans only had the very bad experience.

Camp Erika was close to my home, a great uncle was detained there. An experience he never spoke about, but my father has a book about it.
The handfull of jews imprisoned there, were destined to be beaten allmost to death to make the camp guards (Dutch **** sympathisers) meaner and more ruthless. Most wished they would get the few final beats with a gunstock, because they knew when they healed, they would be beaten again till allmost dead.

Mostly black market traders were detained there. The majority were not war profiteers, but people who evaded the German food stamp program, imposed to track who had more mouths to feed than registered family members (jews hiding in the underground)

I think pretty much every european car manufacturer now offers electric cars, so I expect buying has shifted to them.
Other factors mentioned by automotive press: Tesla has the oldest model portfolio in the market. Apart from the Landcruiser or G wagon, the model S is the oldest model in the market.

A needed AWD and preferred a manual. Short list was Audi A4 and Subaru Outback. Outback won since it's made right here in Indiana.

It's a lot different just coming out with a model and building it forever or updating it every so often. Also, they will start having legacy costs like replacing the workforce. Does the company have a retirement plan or do they just get fired?

In Europe ? Retirement is government business for the social minimum base income, and on top of that everybody has to mandatory join a pension plan that covers the gap between bare minimum and your last earned salary.
Bankruptcy has no effect on anyones retirement plan.

Here in Holland the employer has to pay any employee with an indefinate contract a firing bonus of 1/3 of monthly salary for each employed year at that employer. Unless firing on economical grounds....
