Not that consumer reports is the bible or anything, but they indicate poor reliability. I think their sales have been pretty flat, so they might be selling them pretty cheap.

I owned one for 2 years...never had any reliability problems. There was a factory recall for brake judder, but that was taken care of on Nissan's dime. Great truck...

The current issue of C&D rated it #2 out of 5, beat out by #1 Silverado and it ties for top fuel mileage with the Ford and Tundra with a whopping 13 mpg for all three. Car and Driver always gets sucky mileage though.

My realtor has had one for over a year and he loves it. He has the four door, 4wd and V8 engine. No problems with it so far.

For Scandinavians Titan is a Volvo truck from the sixties.

One of my brothers-in-law had one of the early ones for a couple of years and over 75k miles; never mentioned any problems. I drove it around one day just to try it out and it seemed to me to feel and handle comparable to a Ford F150.
