Price Check Is a Branson 4720 with FEL worth $4k? 400 hours.....clutch sticks

I've just stumbled on this tractor, and I think the answer is obvious. Original owner selling because he wants hydrostatic. Clutch was replaced at 260 hrs. Clutch pedal now sticks down....he says he pulls it up with his foot.

any thoughts?

My Branson 3820 had a bad clutch pedal return spring, and it took all of ten minutes to replace it under the dash with no tools. I'd jump on that deal in a minute. I love my Branson. Never had anything go wrong and I now have 500 hours on it. It's built like a tank.

My thought with hours and hydro in the initial post is that he was on the clutch ALL the time. May have "rode" it too. That clutch should last thousands of hours in normal use. Agree on the clutch return spring broken. Springs do brake since they are tempered steel and tempered steel will do that. Non tempered is what bends, not break.

I'd jump on that too.

Technically you had something go wrong when the clutch pedal return spring went bad
