Not very heavy....should not be a problem.....

I'd guess <50lbs. I'd be willing to set it up on a stand myself but I'd probably want a friend to help mount it high on a wall.

The weight is not really an issue, but considering the size of the TV, where you will mount it, and the investment, I would recommend you have an extra pair of hands around to help.

I've got a 37" LCD TV.
I carried it and hooked it up myself. It's not too bad, but I do recommend you get help...it'd be a real shame if that brand new TV got busted.

as jdbower said - on a stand no problem, on a wall, get help. I set mine up myself in Jan. Is this your first HDTV? You'll love it.

I have a 32" LCD. It doesn't way much more than a case of your favorite beverage ;)

If you are going to wall mount it, buy the nice brackets they sell for that purpose. Best Buy, Circuit City, etc. all sell for about 50-75.00. Don't "skimp" on it, it will have to withstand the weight for a long time.

Once the bracket is on the wall, you can easily pick up the tv and mount it on there yourself...if you have the bracket that are "made" for that purpose. Just lift, let it slide down on it, stick the pin through, wala, you're done. A lot easier than hooking up a box blade or a disk :)

What Roy said... My 37" is around 50#, but it is very ackward to get a hold of for one person without comming into contact with the screen and it would be a shame to kill a new set or damage the screen trying to get it into it's new home:)

I have a 40" Samsung, set it up myself. It would have been nice to have another set of hands, but I was too stubborn to wait for my helper, lol.
