Again...comparing a gear CK25 to the HST CT225.
Is 225 big enough for me?

The HST relief valve lifted very quickly on the 225 when it was pushing into the pile. It required backing up and going in again to get the edge in deep enough to curl back a full bucket. I really think the HST relief pressure is lower on the 225 than it is on the higher hp models.
