When I use a friends IW, I centre punch the spot. Then raise the work against the point on the punch and press the pedal. This seems easier then trying to get the punch to come down in the right spot. Just make sure that your fingers arn't pinched!

Anyone ever tried to enlarge the holes in a mower blade using the IW? Sounds like a gunshot and the slug shoots out of there just about as quick! Scary!

That is likely because the blade is hardened, dies can also break violently trying to punch hardened steel.

Forgot to add the video in #48 shows how the arm lowers the die onto the center punch dent before you cycle the machine.

Hello, I live in Lima Peru recently bought a 60 ton ironworker and the automatic mode does not work and I can only operate in manual mode and my question is how to fix it? besides some other accessory you are needed?
