For those who are new to the Tractor Life (as I am), this is a good video on the capabilities and uses for a York Rake.

Interesting video, I didn't realize York was a brand name, just thought they were all york rakes.

Noticed they all have the wheels now, I've got a 6 ft rake with wheels makes working with it much easier.

Excellent video...!!
I need a rake to maintain my 600 foot hardpack driveway, what brand of
rake would you reccomend? Is York the only way too go?

York is a very good way to go if you can afford it. You can get a good rake for less money than a York. It kind of depends on what you need to do with it.

Woods is at least as good, though I don't know if they are more or less money.
I have a Woods 107-2, with wheels, I didn't bother with the drop down board since I have a rear blade.
Not sure about the value of scarifiers, though I think the Woods can have them too.
At some point a good pocket knife, a few screwdrivers, pliers and wrenches is a better toolkit than a Swiss Army Knife. Not as novel, but more practical.
