Yeah, mine's blazing too:
Download = 0.10
Upload = 0.04

That ain't no misprint and I spend 3 hours yesterday, 2 hours this morning, and 3 hours last Thursday trying to get this fixed.. Gotta love wILDbLUE...

I had Hugesnet, at times it's about the same speed. Then Verizon put in a 4G cell tower and I switched to Millenicom.

I don't live in Kansas City...but I do live in a small town / rural area that is considered part of the KC metro.

This is what I hopefully have to look forward to in the next couple of years

Here's some information. The Goverment apparently offers broadband Internet connection for $9.95 per month for families eligible for free and reduced school lunches.

Also, they will ship you a reconditioned laptop or desktop for $150.

Its a joke... 500mb of data for 'free', 2gb for $20. Plus a 'setup fee'.. This is the same whether you 'qualify' for the 'program' or not

The 'computers' are actually Chromebooks and cost the same as going to Best Buy.. In case you dont know, Chromebooks are NOT 'laptops' in that they have no real OS. They run on Chrome and you MUST be connected to the net.

I'm not sure what the RoadRunner costs by itself, but RR+telephone+Basic+ cable costs upwards of $180.00/month, hence my desire to drop cable and telephone in favor of Roku with RR, OTA TV, and our cells, but I'm still working on getting my wife to accept the changes.
