International (McCormick) 434 Colours.

Hi Folks, first post so be gentle on me!

I have just recently acquired a 1970 International 434 diesel that has been sat in an open barn for the past 15 years or so. She runs like a dream but I have just started to strip bits off to 'pretty' it up a bit and am unsure of what colours the front grill and expanded mesh behind it should be. I have seen some with the off white grills, some silver and some chromed as for the expanded mesh mine is rust coloured! A couple of photos attached of it in its resting place and as it came out.

Any ideas would be most welcome.

If IRC they they went to the off white grill with the 50 series - that is the 350, 450 etc.
I think those before that had a Farmall red grill but that was 50 some years ago.

Never seen one in person, doubt many made it to the states, but International 434 - Tractor & Construction Plant Wiki - The classic vehicle and machinery wiki - Wikia shows a head on picture of a restored 434 and the grill is the off white color. Hope this helps! Good luck with the resto.
