Hey everyone, new to international tractors. I just recently purchased a international 574. It's been sitting for a few years but everything works. My question is, everything I've read says it should have category 2 ball ends. Mine has cat 1. For curiosity, I took it off and the other end, the end that's hooked to the tractor, is cat 2. Can the lift arms on these tractors be flipped to use either way? The pins in the back of the tractor that hold the arms on, are stepped. Cat 1 into cat 2, which is why I'm thinking the arms can be flipped to use cat 1 or cat 2. Any info is appreciated guys

I doubt that they can be reversed.

IH used a larger pin on the tractor mounting end of their 3 point arms. Even my IH 424 has a larger pin and hole on the tractor mount end.

I bought a replacement end to weld on the has both a cat one and a cat two holes in it. Since the implement ends need replacing.
