International 444 gas - been sitting for years.

The fenders and the grille are different between the 424 and the 444. Note the 354, 364, 384 2424, 424, 444 and 2444 are all the same basic design there may be others too.

The gas hydraulic pump is different than the diesel. I think the distributor is connected to the engine gear train at the same location.

Is there an easy way to find the bolt pattern/dimensions of the rear wheels/hubs?

How big a financial risk would you be taking if you bought this ?
If it was cheap enough that you could part it out if a major issue was found, I would probably take a chance on it.

That is a consideration - and yes we have that option if we need it, but I dont think we'll need it. There are lots of parts/assemblies that could be sold if it came to that.

We got the tractor back yesterday. So far I think we did OK on this one.

Since the deal is done I'll start another thread on working through the machine.
