I looked into this on my IH 424.

The top cover ubnder the seat where the 3 point upper arms attach have to come off to access a bolt and a snap ring. I'm not sure if the whole axle housing has to come off or not.

I need to do the same thing on my tractor. With the dry brakes the shafts are above the axle shafts.

I am going to tear into mine further tommorrow. I think after you get the brake cases off you have to pull the backing plate. Hopefully I can get to the seal there and pull and install a new one.

Anybody else run into this?? My left side one is leaking pretty bad. No wonder I didnt have any left brake!!!
