Kubota B7800
I just bought a used B7800 and put a front blade on for snow removal. Since I have a long uphill driveway I thought chains would be a good idea so I ordered the rear wheel spacer kit designed for the B7800 from my local Kubota dealer. When I went to install them I found that the holes on the spacers were slightly off and would not go over the studs and the raised center that is supposed to fit through the hole in the center of the rim was too big. My dealer called Kubota and was told they had not heard of this issue before. Has anyone here who has installed Kubota's spacers had any issues? Fortunately with R4 tires, there is just enough clearance to use the chains without the spacers so I returned the spacer kit.

I was reading another thread about wheel spacers for these tractors,
They were having trouble getting any from Kubota and were trying to get some custom made....
Like with the bad seats for B and BX tractors there are several different stories from Kubota on availabity!

I'm wondering if they made them where they build and weld the loaders.

Is the kit numbered B8785?

i installed the spacer kit on my B7800 about a month ago due to my new tire chains rubbing on the inside of the rear wheel fenders. I did not have any problem at all everything worked just fine. only thing i had to do was wack the spacer for the last 3/8 of an inch to get it to seat properly in the raised circlular section in the middle of the hub.

curious it did not line up for you.

Sounds like you have the wrong kit for your tractor. I put Kubota's wheel spacer kit on my B3030 with no problems whatsoever.......... well, except for the double hernia from moving my loaded tires.;)

This was the correct kit for the B7800. Part number B8785 and the instructions specified the B7800. The six holes for the studs were visibly off, like they were not drilled on exactly the correct diameter. With respect to the raised section on the hub, in my case, the recess for that section in the spacer was actually bigger in diameter than necessary so it would have fit fine. The biggest problem was the raised section of the spacer was about 1/8 inch too big in diameter and would not fit into the hole in the rim.

nhkabotab7800: My spacers were steel and painted black. What did yours look like?

Fortunately there was enough clearance for my chains and everything is working well. The instructions state that the spacers are not compatible with mid-mowers so at least I don't have to remove them in the spring. The plow works great by the way.

yes i had the exact same kit, they were painted Black steel spacers 1 1/2 inch.

My spacers had a very thick coat of paint, and combined with the very tight fit at the hub pilot might be the problem.
