Just thought I'd post this...very interesting. Harbor Freight sells the base model online for $2500 (not exactly a bargain).

Makes me want to "invent" and fabricate a tow-behind lawn tractor cart with a backhoe/loader built into it (for all those folks who don't have a Power-trac!) /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

i agre on the cost, way too high.

If you have dug as many holes as i have with a three point hitch Danheuser auger with downpressure kit you will never build one but use the pt auger as is; so simple, so fast.
