The ENTIRE purpose of posting this article is the simple fact that what happens in one state, tends to adopted by others soon there after. I've always been of the belief that interstate sales were not taxed in the state of residence, but Calif. adopted (on autos) a six month clause many years ago, if it is brought into Calif within six months of purchase, then taxes are applied, after six months, no tax. Use tax? First I've heard of it.
Using warrenty records? Totally unethical! Particularly unethical on the part of the Dealers and Manufacturers!
Boycott? Seems right to me, at least of Case, and Deere!
