Hey Pack.

Curious if anyone's homeowner's insurance covers their tractor when it is taken off their residence? Mine is covered only while at our residence. Quotes so far have been $1500 for a stand-a-lone policy. I have a need to take it off premises to help parents & N-laws about 5 times a year. I'd really like to have it covered.

If your Ins. Co. does cover it on & off premises, pls let me know the name of your ins co. Thanks!

I got a standalone non commercial tractor policy for around $200/yr that I was told covers the tractor when I am working off my property maintaining conservation land.

What's the company? I'm considering a commercial policy too. Thanks

Mine is not a commercial policy it just covers the tractor independently of the homeowners. Chubb is the company.

My State Farm Homeowners policy would cover my tractor on my property. I bought a rider policy through State Farm for $250 +/- a year which covers it and my implements off my property and in transit.

But there still isn't any liability coverage correct.
