Hi all, I love this L48 "Little Digger", it has proven itself over and over. So now it is time to expand... so I am installing the 27" Linville thumb. Going to weld the plate top the stick. The plate design should give plenty of support. But like everything, you need to be smarter than what you are working with. Here is a good install video but looking for any first-hand experiences here:

Personally, when not using it I would just pull all pins and just leave the plate versus stowing it on the stick. Aside from the "hoe music" on the video, I think it will interfere with the digging field of vision a bit. So mine will stow on the trailer.
