In the past I had posted about some trouble I was having with the lifting capacity of the 1445. It just would not lift any more that 450 lbs.

Took out the relief valves and sent to PT for testing, came back good.

Lifting cylinders were leaking a little bit, so I rebuilt them.

Terry told me to raise the lifting arms up and takeoff the upper hose and see if the cylinders were bypassing. They were not

I put a gauge on the lifting cylinders, and read no more than 1000 psi, so I figured the valve was leaking. Removed valve for testing. Tested good.

OK, The pump is only thing left in circuit. Ordered new pump from Baileys, and installed same. Guess what, I now have 2200 psi and full lifting capacity.

Price on that pump from different companies ran from $97.00 to $ 199.00.

Baileys part # is 250-058, .194 cuin, at 3 gal at 3000rpm $92.19 plus shipping. It is a Barnes pump, but Haldex owns them now. Real easy for me to change. Mine was belt driven on my PT-1445.
