install fwd driveshaft pointers

Hi gang

I am installing the drive shaft after the tractor removed the drive shaft spontaneously. I have repaired the drive-shaft housing and got new balls, spring and such. I have a valve spring compressor to use on the spring have read the install procedure in teh 276d manual but the directions leave out some details. Such as which end to start with. How to keep the first cv joint in place while the second is installed. I have a Koyker loader installed so there is a support in the way but I think I can work with it. Any advise will be welcome.

The one I did was a few months ago on a 2420D and I started at the back and got that in place grease helps hold the balls. Then did the front and slid the spring and washer forward and put the cotter pin in and then slide the outer tube forward and clamp it. hth
