Insight on buying a mini excavator vs renting

Hopefully this PDF uploads. But thinking its in the tank still? Pretty hard to make out.

Another diagram shows it on the back left of the machine....cant say I see it there but maybe I will pull the panels under the seat and see if that gives me a better view.

From your first PDF diagram A3-5 is you return filter. Looks like just take the 4 bolts out, there will be a spring lifting on the cover as you take bolts out. Easy peasy. One important thing to remember any time you open up the hyd system is be super clean so no contaminants get in.

Assume you know but yes filter is in the tank , the filter cover you need to remove is next to the first one you removed

Thank you both for the insight. Just wrapped up swapping it out once I got home from work. Not sure how I missed it yesterday as I pulled that cover and didn't see it. Took me all about 10 minutes tonight

Buying a tractor will be much more profitable than renting it. I hope I won't sound too stupid since a lot of time has passed since writing your post. Since I am now puzzled by this question, I need to find out what you have done as a result and what advice you can have for people in the same situation as you. On one of the forums, I found a review from someone who advised me to immediately look for options on the site https://www.truck1.eu/construction-machinery/crawler-excavators/caterpillar-6015b-a5461489.htm. There are good prices there, but I'm still thinking about whether I should buy this equipment right away or if it's still better to rent it for a while.
