Well, it looks like I might soon be transitioning to a 1026R. Clearly gonna need a TB for digging, lifting rocks and logs, and general fearsome appearance. Surprising that Deere doesn't offer one - a liability issue, low demand, or what? Also seems that some of the TB suppliers rated highly here are no longer in the business. Suggestions for cheap-ish current dealers welcome.

I have found one place at a relatively reasonable price, but can't order w/o dimensions. Could someone here please give the exact inside width of the 49" bucket?

Thanks as always-

I suggest you wait until you get your tractor and measure your bucket (subtract 3/8" to 1/2" from the inside measurement for easy installation...use a couple washers as fillers).
Depending on another person to measure their bucket could result in a tooth bar you aren't satisfied with.

The inside dimension of the 49" bucket in the area where the toothbar mounts measures 49-3/8". You may also need to verify that the cutting edge thickness is 1/2" or less, which it is.

The toothbar mfr will adjust the width of the toothbar by design, usually about 1/4" per side. When you bolt on the toothbar, the ears are usually meant to bend outward to take up the gap.
