input needed from XR4145 owners please

my dealer just called and says he can make it worth my while to trade in my 2012 3039 on a new XR4145. would have shuttle shift and front end loader. if you can tell me your experiences good or bad as far as operation, and what kind of price you paid i would be grateful. thanks.

The XR4145 is a new model this summer. It has a3 cylinder turbocharged engine. Most of us who own LS have had very few problems. I have 157 hours on mine and major complaints. Good luck.

What kind of major complaints? I've been thinking about getting a 4100 series and would like to know what to watch out for.

Type-o ment to say no major complaints. Only problem was a bad PTO safety switch . Which the dealer replaced under warranty.

I just bought one in July. Has just over 12 hours on it so far and no issues. Very well built and comfortable. The only thing I've found that I don't like is the diff-lock lever is too close to the gear selector boot. I can see the boot getting ripped if I'm not careful. I have also found that shifting between ranges isn't very smooth. It takes a little rocking back and forth to get the lever to move without forcing it (shuttle and gear selector in neutral, brakes off, idling). It may be that it is too new and needs to wear in a little? I'll see how it acts after the 50hr service. I got the FEL, backhoe, 6ft LS brush hog, and loaded rear tires for $33k delivered. Not a bad deal as far as I can tell. It is a powerhouse.
