Snowblower Inland DA -92

This is an 8 foot snowblower with dual augers. I am trying to get the shaft out of the gearbox. It starts from pto and goes through gear box and then the fan to blow snow is at end of shaft. Which way does the shaft go? Out the front or out the back.
