 - Kioti CK 30 (2008, gear drive, 415 hours)

Hi folks:
2008 CK30
I am in the process of installing my rebuilt injector pump (rebuilt by thepumpguysc) and the first step is to reinstall the injectors.
I have tried the method recommended in the manual (inserting a screwdriver to spin the heat shield and lift it out).
I squirted some PB blaster in the hole, waited and they still won't budge one iota.
Any other suggestions for how to get these suckers out? I don't want to damage anything.
The tractor has 824 hours on it. Do I REALLY need to replace the heat shields?
Thanks,
DOC
