Information on Tuning the TB-144 engine on the IH 34114 engine.

Hi all.
I'm wanting to tuneup the engine on the Tractor and wanting the recommenced point setting, plug setting, which of the two timing marks to use, Ect.

Anyone have this information laying around or a place to locate it.

Points .014
Timing 5º BTC - So I would assume the first mark to come up to the pointer would be your 5º mark. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Thanks for the information. Did that today and we got an start right away. Runs well. Now for the Carburetor. Runs with choke partially closed only but enough to get all off the ground and move to better location. Now to figure out how the Carb functions. It is the Zenith VN. Any idea for information on tuning it?

Sorry, don't know anything about the carb. However there are a couple active threads on this very carb in parts/repairs going on right now.
