Hey guys really want to get a 1528-1534 with a MMM. Couple of qestions, how hard are they to take off, and do you think the drive over ones that the green guys have is an advantage?

Thanks

We have a 1505 MMM on our MF 1523, and it is an absolute dream to take off. The key is to make sure you are parked on level ground, and have the deck wheels set right. Slides out no problem.

I would say 5 minutes at the absolute maximum.

Hey, that's a good lookin mowing tractor. I've been thinking about a GC & mower or a ZT33, but that 1523 looks pretty good!

Thanks. The biggest reason we went with the 1523 was that it is so nimble, and compact. Did not want a GC because it just did not fit our needs. We tried the R4's and did not like them at all. Our heavy clay soil and R4's do not mix, they would not clean off unless you used a pressure washer. The Turfs are great.

The ZT33 are nice machines. Are they Iseki powered?? Our MF was in getting a major repair done, and the dealer WOULD NOT lend us an equal machine, lent us a POS X500. I asked for a ZT, but no luck. (Laughed when I asked about a ZT.)

Are you a MF tech?? Or work at a dealership? Got a couple of questions concerning remote hook up for you. For some reason, the PM you sent me a while back is gone.

Thanks.

Yep, Iseki powered. Almost the same mower deck that's on your tractor I think. I like the zero turn idea for the speed. I guess I have enough tractors, but I just like the idea of having a huge riding mower.
I can't remember but I think you were going to hook a wood splitter up? Should be easy enough to explain.

Thanks for the reply, that is one good looking machine. Do you have to jack up the tractor to get the deck to slid out? on my Cub i have to and it is a pain in the rear end. What HP is your machine and deck size?

Thanks. It is a MF 1523 - 22.5HP Motor, 17.6 PTO HP it is the Hydrostatic model. The deck is the MF 1505 60" cut.

We have had to jack it up only once to get the deck out, but that it is because we removed the deck on the lawn, and with the angle the tractor was sitting on, the one deck wheel rubbed the front drive shaft.

If you are parked on (fairly) level ground, you do not need to jack it up. With myself on one side, and my dad on the other, it comes out no problem.

Anything else, feel free to ask.
